About
Part 2: Practical Approaches to Creating FIR Filters. This course focuses on practical methods for designing FIR filters. Although we will primarily use Filter Hose software as our primary tool, the discussions will not be restricted to any particular software. The main goals include exploring off-axis responses, adjusting processing delays, and gaining a deeper understanding of loudspeaker measurement data. Important Note: The materials in this course are NOT considered basic or for beginners. The course is open for 12 weeks, and participants are highly recommended to replay the course contents several times. Basic FIR filter knowledge (from course Part 1) must be understood as Part 2 continues the discussions from Part 1. Other Info: The course is open 12 weeks from your purchase date and presented as recorded videos. The PowerPoint (including the narration) is available as PDF. We do not provide PDF notes for Filter Hose's live demonstration. Participants are encouraged to create their own step-by-step notes from each demonstration. The course aims to support self-improvement for any audio practitioners. Unfortunately, we do not offer Cedia CEU credits or certifications.
