How do you select a good Feng Shui consultant? This question is as common as how you select a good contractor. Here are several tips from us.
A professional Feng Shui consultant should NOT:
Share the client’s information. All works shall be confidential.
Comes with evil intentions, inducing gossips, rumors and/or backstabbing about the client, other parties or other consultant/lineage.
Selling unnecessary, what’s so-called Feng Shui products.
Professional Feng Shui consultant SHOULD:
Wholeheartedly help a client. Honest and follow good practice principles.
Agrees on the scope of work that they are capable of.
More or less, educate the clients about Feng Shui and wholeheartedly answer questions, including discussing alternatives or possibilities.
Focus on the client’s needs and provide support after the delivery of the report.
Open to discussing Feng Shui and various schools/lineages in a respectful, educative, and supportive way.
Things to expect/prepare prior to a Feng Shui consultancy:
Consultancy may require a discussion about one’s personal life. It is not the consultant's intention to be nosy, but some personal questions are usually required to move forward with the analysis.
If renovations are not possible (or partially possible), please let the consultant know in advance. This will enable the consultant to be very specific when delivering the report.
